- 인도네시아 지역 내 태권도 발전 위해 다양한 지원 예정 -
특수법인 국기원은 20일 원장실에서 Yayasan Universal Taekwondo Indonesia(이하 YUTi, 회장 Lioe Nam Khiong)와 양해각서를 체결했습니다.
국기원해외등록도장사업(Kukkiwon Membership System, 이하 KMS)의 일환으로 인도네시아 지역에 올바른 태권도 정신과 기술을 보급하고 지역 내 태권도 발전 사업을 위해 MOU를 체결한 것입니다.
2011년 신설단체인YUTI는 단기간 내의 회원 확보로 KMS 특별단체 가입을 신청하고, 심의를 통해 적격 판정을 받아 가입 승인을 얻었습니다.
이번 MOU 체결을 위해 방한한 Lioe Nam Khiong 회장은  “국기원과의 글로벌 네트워크를 통해 다양한 정보 교류와 행정지원을 받을 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔습니다.
이에 강 원장은  “YUTI와의 파트너십을 십분 활용하여 인도네시아 내 태권도를 활성화시키고, 지역 내 국기원의 브랜드 네임벨류를 한층 높이는데 최선을 다하겠다. 상호발전을 도모할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 말했습니다.
추후 국기원은 YUTI에 ’국기원등록도장 등록증’’인증마크(현판)’’국기원 휘장기’를 제공하는 등 다양한 홍보물 및 프로그램을 통해 지원할 예정입니다.
연차적으로 기획물품 및 세미나 실시, 도장 경영프로그램 등 도장경영에 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있도록 지속적인 지원계획도 수립했습니다.
국기원의 ’KMS 프로젝트’는 해외조직기반 조성에 따른 도장 네트워크를 구축하는 것은 물론 해외 품·단 보급 및 연수교육 강화를 통해 명실상부한 글로벌 조직으로서의 기반을 확고히 함으로써 해외 시장에서의 국기원 브랜드 강화를 도모할 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있습니다.
